You let a contract and hope all goes well…
Wouldn’t it make sense to hire an outside company to watch the job, make sure the safety meeting consists of more than passing a clipboard around and having them sign it?
Wouldn’t it give you a sense of ease if you knew that your professional observer documented and photographed work that will be covered by finished surfaces, reporting to you any irregularities or short cuts that might result in a later problem?
All big jobs have these professionals and our experience is that the smaller ones need them also. It’s far better, and money well spent, to insure that your construction job will go just like you want it to go.
As contractors we enjoy working with the owner’s representative, the “project-manager”, and it helps us to do a good job as well.
